Harmonizing occupation and humanity for healthier leadership and work cultures!

Meet Owner & Chief Consultant and Executive Coach

Belinda West

In today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment, leaders must be adaptable and resilient to meet ever-shifting demands and avoid jeopardizing results and workplace culture. Did you know that the average person spends around 90,000 hours at work in their lifetime? However, research shows that about half of the American workforce is dissatisfied with their jobs. Adaptive leadership has been found to positively correlate with workforce engagement, which is crucial for organizational success. Adaptability and resilience are also essential for personal and professional self-management and fulfillment.

With her rich background in health and business sciences spanning over three decades, Belinda West is a passionate guide for purpose-driven leaders striving to balance personal and professional aspirations. In 2020, she founded Occupation Humanity to foster the connection between occupation and humanity in the workplace through coaching, consultation, training, and speaking engagements.

If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.

“It is not the load that breaks you down. It’s the way you carry it.”

viktor frankl

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.
